The old wireless navigation centre lies just 10 minutes walk from a white Hebridean beach and is surrounded by the beautiful flora and fauna of the 'Machair'.
Nowadays it is a family home with comfortable holiday accommodation in it's two keepers cottages. It stands alone, yet the friendly local community offers a swimming pool, soon to be completed bowling alley, award winning play park, shop, petrol station, hotel and back bar.
The island is famous for it's archeological sites, fishing, surfing beaches, sheltered coves, walking and cycling. Dolphin, whale, eagle, rare migratory birds and otter watching are a must.
The Hebrides tempt visitors with their long summer days and seas warmed by the Gulf Stream. Out of season they are as exciting with dramatic changes in weather, the amazing views of The Northern Lights and interesting wildlife.
